Ascult Sonority, şi parcă toate sunetele se concentrează în mijlocul camerei, într-un happening psihedelic. Bleak House a lui Terje Rypdal are darul de a aduce în prezent, proaspăt, acel „air du temps” a sfârşitului de deceniu 7, dar unul high-class jazzy… „Văd” culorile sonore năvălind în forme baroce, ca o auroră boreală controlată, în zboruri de efemeridă… Who needs substance abuse when there is such music?

În opinia mea, recenzia de pe AMG pentru Islands dovedeşte că Bruce Eder n-a înţeles muzica celor de la King Crimson. Adevăratul stil Crimson a ieşit la iveală abia după ce Greg Lake a plecat. Adică In the Court of the Crimson King e mai bun ca Islands? Ha! Nu l-aş fi putut deosebi de Emerson Lake & Palmer… N-am nimic cu Greg Lake, chiar îmi place, dar nu e Crimson… Despre In the Wake of Poseidon şi Lizard, later…

Vineri 30 martie 2007, Restaurantul Porolissum din Zalău va găzdui un eveniment organizat de Rotary Club în colaborare cu Rotaract Club Zalău – un concert de jazz al quintetului Eldad Tarmu Jazz Ensemble avându-i în componenţă alături de vibrafonistul şi compozitorul Eldad Tarmu, pe trompetistul californian Josh Aguiar, saxofonistul Lucian Nagy de la Bright White Line, bassistul Bega Blues Band Johnny Bota şi percuţionistul budapestan Pusztai Csaba . Recitalul va prilejui o strângere de fonduri pentru Academia fără manuale – o idee originală Rotaract Club Zalău.

Pe situl unei prietene iraniene pe care am cunoscut-o datorită pasiunii mele pentru poezia persană şi Sadeq Hedayat, căruia i-am făcut o recenzie într-o revistă locală (pentru Bufniţa oarbă), am descoperit-o pe Forugh Farrokhzad, prin acest poem.
