Recunosc

Am sucombat tentației

De a construi tăceri

Voluptatea

Perfecțiunii corpului vitros

Umbrit doar de

Aburul gândului

E orgoliul meu

De artizan

Mai împărtășesc

Cu tine

Doar vina

De a ucide dorința

Pulverizării

Odată cu prima

Rostire.

All that music you keep listening cannot stop the pain,

All that hard work and friends cannot stop the pain,

Those caressing arms of a rebound lover cannot stop the pain.

I wonder when the bouts of tears will stop,

I wonder when the grief will be healed.

No matter how better off you are the betrayal is there,

No matter how untouched your self esteem is, the betrayal is there.

No matter how empowering breaking-up is,

The grief will leave at its will.

Că tot sunt într-o pasă nostalgică, zilele trecute mi s-a făcut dor de o piesă uimitor de frumoasă (riveting este termenul cel mai precis 🙂 ) aparţinând trupei Van der Graaf Generator, piesă căreia i-am ascultat cu atenţie maximă versurile, care sunt un poem excelent în sine, aşa cum sunt toate versurile angoasatului Peter Hammill…
Iată-le:

„Searching for diamonds in the sulphur mine,

leaning on props that are rotten,

hoping for anything, looking for a sign

that I am not forgotten;

lost in a labyrinth of future mystery,

tracing my steps, all mistaken,

trusting to everything, praying it can be

that I am not forsaken,

I wait by the door, wondering when you will come and keep me warm.

I pray for the end of the night,

hoping the light will still the stormwhich presently entraps me:

helpless sea-monster stranded on the shore,
